WOMEN'S PELVIC FLOOR THERAPY

Restore your confidence. Improve your quality of life.

Many women experience pelvic floor problems at some point in their live, but just because they're common doesn't mean they're normal. Symptoms such as urinary leakage, pelvic pain, pain during intimacy, or feelings of heaviness can significantly impact daily life. Pelvic floor physical therapy is a specialized, conservative treatment that helps address these concerns by improving the strength, coordination, flexibility, and function of the muscles that support the bladder, uterus, and pelvic organs.

Dr. Lenox Boyd

Dr. Lenox Boyd believes pelvic health is an essential part of overall wellness, not something you simply have to "live with." She creates a welcoming, judgment-free environment where women can openly discuss concerns and receive personalized treatment designed to restore strength, confidence, and quality of life.

WHAT IS PELVIC FLOOR PHYSICAL THERAPY?

The pelvic floor is a group of muscles, ligaments, and connective tissues that support the pelvic organs, while helping control bladder and bowel functions, support core stability, and contribute to sexual health. When these muscles become weak, tight, uncoordinated, or painful, they can lead to a wide range of symptoms.

Pelvic floor physical therapy uses evidence-based techniques including education, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, breathing strategies, posture correction, movement retraining, and home exercise programs to restore healthy pelvic floor function.
